A former professor and ESL instructor, Paul Blomeyer has been performing stand-up for several years. Known for his intelligence and dark point-of-view, Paul has delighted audiences all over Southern California and internationally. Younger audiences appreciate his anti-professor persona while older audiences connect to him because he’s old and, like them, he’s irritated by the optimism of the young.

He has performed in festivals all over the country including the Burbank Comedy Festival, the Lookout Comedy Festival, and the World Series of Comedy. He was also a featured comedian in Magner’s International Comedy Festival held in Bangkok, Thailand.

When not performing comedy or watching “Law and Order” reruns, he reads a lot, travels, and listens to music. He really likes sushi.
